Diego coordinates the Emerging Market Sustainability Dialogues (EMSD) activities in Mexico, and other Latin American countries, with a focus on the Emerging Market Multinationals (EMM) Network for Sustainability and the Economic Policy Forum (EPF). Throughout his professional career he has worked on research projects within civil society, community development, accountability and geopolitics. Furthermore, he has many years of project management experience, leading and coordinating development projects, mainly related to citizenship education, youth participation, forestry and natural resources management and social development – all within national and international institutions. He holds a Bachelor in International Relations from the National University of Mexico (UNAM), and a Masters in International Development Cooperation from the Mora Research Institute in Mexico City. He has completed the Managing Global Governance Academy, an advanced training and dialogue course in International Negotiations (Germany), and Marketing (Mexico).
