Gundolf is heading the China component of the regional project Social and Labour Standards in the Textile and Garment Sector in Asia (SLSG). The SLSG project supports the effort of private and state actors to improve social, labour and environmental standards.
Prior to this role, he managed a project on Water Efficiency in the Textile Industry in Pakistan. Before that, he worked in GIZ as advisor of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on chemicals and waste conventions, and the international agreement on sustainable chemical management. His professional career started in the corporate development unit of GIZ.
Gundolf holds a Master’s Degree in Geography, Political Science and Agricultural Economics of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn.
