Qi Lan

Lan supports the Emerging Markets Dialogue on Finance (EMDF) as expert. Prior to that, she was heading diverse projects in the financial sector, including the Asset and Equity Market Reform Project and the Sino-German Financial Stability Project in partnership with the People’s Bank of China (PBC) and the Sino-German Securities Investor Protection Project in partnership with China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). In 2013, Lan was appointed Deputy Programme Director of Sino-German Financial Sector Reform Programme. In 2015, she was appointed as the Project Director of the Sino-German Center of Finance and Economics. At the same time, she was the Deputy Project Director of Consumer Data Protection Project.

From 2005 to 2008, she was a manager of Ernst & Young Beijing’s Transaction Advisory Service Department, and from 1992 to 1999, Lan worked for China Venturetech Investment Corporation.

Lan obtained a MBA in Strategic Management of Sauder Business School of University of British Columbia (UBC), Canada in 2004.
